Manish Sisodia: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has made a big claim by holding a press conference. During the press conference on the new excise policy in Delhi, the Deputy CM said that in the new policy, there was a proposal to distribute the shop equally in the whole of Delhi, not to increase the shop. It is being told that the new policy was made only after the approval of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. Now the Deputy CM said that the government had accepted the suggestions of the LG, which came into force in May 2021. The old shopkeepers benefit from the new excise policy.

Whereas before it was clearly stated in the files that till now only the Lieutenant Governor gives permission. But the proposal to open the shop reached LG in the first week of November.
