Vikram Gokhale Health Update: Let us tell you that Vrushali Gokhale, wife of Bollywood veteran Vikram Gokhale, has denied the news of her husband’s death. While according to a new report, Vrushali said that Vikram ‘slipped into a coma’ on Wednesday afternoon and is currently on a ventilator. Vrushali also said that several organs of Vikram have stopped working.
Simultaneously, as per the reports we have received, Vrushali further said that Vikram is in Pune’s Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital since November 5. The news of the actor’s death surfaced on social media in the early hours of Thursday, following which several Bollywood celebrities including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Aly Goni, Jaaved Jaaferi took to Twitter to offer condolences.
While talking to a media house, Vrushali said, “He slipped into coma yesterday afternoon and after that, he did not respond to touch. He is on ventilator. Doctors will decide tomorrow morning what to do. whether it is improving, sinking or still.” Not responding His health improved slightly but slipped again. He has many problems like heart and kidney. At the moment, many of his organs have stopped working.”
Dr Dhananjay Kelkar of Dinant Mangeshkar Hospital said that the rumors of his death are ‘not true’, as reported by news agency ANI. Vikram’s daughter also told ANI, “He is still critical and on life support and hasn’t passed yet. Keep praying for him.”
Also on the work front, Vikram was last seen in Nikamma alongside Shilpa Shetty and Abhimanyu Dassani. The film hit the theaters in June this year. He made his film debut at the age of 26 in the 1971 film Parwana starring Amitabh Bachchan and in a career spanning over 40 years, Gokhale appeared in various Marathi and Bollywood films. These include Agneepath in 1990 starring Amitabh Bachchan and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999 with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Also in 2010, he received the National Award for Best Actor for his work in the Marathi film Ishti. He also made his directorial debut with the Marathi film Aaghat. Other notable works of the actor include Mission Mangal, Hichki, Aiyaary, Bang Bang, De Dana Dan and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
