I worked with Vikram ji from the beginning of my career. We did projects in Hindi, Marathi and it was always a pleasure working with him. He was a very good friend of mine and a wonderful human being. I know that one day everyone has to leave this world, but this is a big loss for me. I remember meeting him at a wedding in Pune about 2 months ago. It was me, his wife and him. He was still not looking very well but I did not know that within 2 months he would leave us like this.

I have lost a very good friend. I have known him for many years. I have worked in Hindi Marathi and all films. I have done all kinds of roles with him. I played his wife, girlfriend, sister and in our last film I played his daughter-in-law. He lived a king size life. You will not find an actor like him. He has an opinion about things. I have not yet met an actor alive like him. He was fearless. I will learn the fearlessness of Vikram Gokhale from his life. He was my friend and a wonderful person. There was no such film in which he did not leave a mark. It is an acting school. You are infatuated with her. He was a good actor, I will miss him. Losing Vikram Gokhale is a personal loss for the entire Marathi industry.

I have many memories with him. My first professional play that I saw as an audience when I was in school was a play by Vikram ji. I was amazed by his performance, it was the first play I saw as it got me into acting. I can never forget his acting skills on stage even after so many years.
There was no actor who could do what he could. I have had the privilege of working with him in a few films. But I have always been inspired by his work and passion. After Dr. Lagoo, if there is anyone who has left such an impact on our generation, it is Mr. Gokhale. Of course it’s sad that I won’t be able to meet him, or work with him. But he was a man with a lively heart. He was always energetic. I have never seen him lost or silent. I have this image of him. He was like my father because he has played my father on screen. He is also like the father figure of the industry as everyone wants to be like him. He is still alive for me. I am sure wherever he is, he must be talking to God passionately about the plays.
