Students studying in Delhi University have a chance to get their entire fees waived off. For this they have to apply for FSS Scheme.

The Office of Dean Students Welfare of Delhi University has launched a scholarship scheme. This Financial Support Scheme (FSS) is for the economically weaker students (EWS). FROM This scholarship will be given to those EWS students who have taken regular admission in graduate and postgraduate courses in the university. This scheme has been started under the government’s ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ motto. Under this scheme, all the fees of the students will be waived off. However, the examination and hostel fees of the students will not be waived.
According to the notification, students will have to download the application form link by visiting shortest.link/dufss?l=en. Eligible candidates can submit their application form to the concerned department. The last date for submission of application form is 12 December 2022 till 4 pm. In the application form, candidates will have to provide personal details, course and college information. Apart from this, candidates will also have to provide their contact details in the form.
Who will get the benefit of the scheme?
Those students who are financially weak will get the benefit of the FSS scheme. Students whose annual income is less than four lakh rupees, their 100 percent fees will be waived. 50% fee waiver will be given to students having family annual income of Rs 4 to 8 lakh. Students who have arrears of exam fees can also take advantage of this scheme.
Documents required for FSS Scheme
Students applying under the DU DSW FSS Scheme will have to submit the application form along with the documents mentioned below to the DSW office. Application form can also be taken from DSW office. DU Financial Support Scheme Application Form
- Last year’s annual income certificate of the family. It should be issued by Tehsildar or its equivalent officer.
- Copy of ITR of parents (if required)
- Copy of passing mark sheet of previous exam
- Copies of original student in degree/postgraduate degree course
- Fee payment receipt, which contains information about every expense.
- Copy of bank passbook, on which account number, IFSC code and photograph are present.
EWS students of Delhi University will get great relief from this. The financial pressure on the families of EWS students will also reduce.
