Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 exam is going to be conducted in three sessions. In such a situation, let us know what things the students are not allowed to carry in the exam hall.
Common Admission Test (CAT)2022 will be organized on 27 November i.e. tomorrow. CAT exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore will conduct the exam for admission to business school in three sessions. The exam slot is scheduled from 8:30 am to 10:30 am for the candidates appearing in the first session of the exam. Students appearing for the exam in this slot will have to reach the center exactly 15 minutes before the exam i.e. by 8:15 am.
Students giving the exam in the second session will also have to reach the exam center 15 minutes before. The second session of CAT Exam is scheduled from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Whereas, the third session of the exam will start at 4:30 pm and will continue till 6:30 pm. Candidates are advised to reach the exam center well before the commencement of the exam so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience.
Candidates are told that they have to follow all the rules mentioned on the admit card. If they do not follow any rule, then they may have to pay the consequences by getting the exam canceled. IIM-B has told that if any candidate has metal implants, pacemaker etc., then they will have to bring a medical certificate to prove this at the exam center.
These things are not allowed in the exam hall
- Candidates are not allowed to wear thick soled shoes, footwear and clothes with big buttons.
- Candidates are not allowed to bring any personal thing to the exam hall.
- Students have also not been allowed to come wearing digital watches, smartwatches, bracelets, cameras, jewelry and metal items.
- Items like spectacles, purses, handbags, belts, caps, mobile phones, electronic gadgets, calculators, stationery items are prohibited.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry CAT 2022 admit card, pen and scribble pad with them.
Candidates giving CAT Exam are told that it is mandatory for them to wear a mask. Students wearing plain pullovers, sweaters, socks and jackets without pockets will be able to give the exam.
